Pearl Theatre Company Announces 2008-2009 Season

The Pearl Theatre Company has announced the productions for its 25th anniversary season, which will kick off with The Oedipus Cycle (October 13-November 16), by Sophocles, translated by Peter Constantine, and directed by Shepard Sobel. Gotthold Lessing’s Nathan the Wise will follow, December 8-January 4, in an adaptation by Richard Sewell, directed by Shepard Sobel.

J.R. Sullivan will direct Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, January 19-February 22. Molière’s Tartuffe will be up next, March 16-April 19, directed by Gus Kaikkonen. The season will conclude with Tennessee Williams Vieux Carré, May 11-June 14, to be directed by Austin Pendleton.
