Foa, Gets, Greenspan, Lewis, et al. to Celebrate Boys in the Band 40th Anniversary

Transport Group will present An Evening With… The Boys in the Band, a special event in honor of the landmark play’s 40th anniversary, to be held at 7pm on Monday, June 16 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

The event will feature a staged reading of the play, about a group of homosexuals in the 1960s, starring Patrick Boll, Manoel Felciano, Barrett Foa, Malcolm Gets, David Greenspan, Jonathan Hammond, Chirstopher Innvar, Norm Lewis, and John Wellman.

There will also be a panel discussion, hosted by Michael Feingold and featuring author Mart Crowley, Dominick Dunne, who was executive producer of the 1970 film version, and actors Laurence Luckinbill and Peter White, who were part of the original Broadway cast.
