Darragh, Narciso, Weixler to Star in Studio Dante’s Safe

Patch Darragh, Alfredo Narciso, and Jess Weixler will star in Studio Dante’s production of Ron Fitzgerald’s drama Safe, June 10-29. The production, which will open officially on June 14, will be directed by Zetna Fuentes.

The play concerns three relative strangers, Ginger, Van, and Muzzy, who are bound by their self-destructive tendencies, their common desire for a fresh start, and their will to survive. Fitzgerald’s other plays include Cyclone Parts Unknown, and The River.

The creative team includes Victoria Imperioli (sets and costumes), Tony Giovannetti (lighting), and David M. Lawson (sound). Fuentes’ many directorial credits include The Given, Late Fragment, and Crossing the Border.

Darragh most recently appeared Off-Broadway in Crimes of the Heart. Narciso recently appeared Off-Broadway in Drunken City. Weixler appeared in the film Teeth.
