T.R. Knight to Guest Star in Creation Nation at Zipper

Stage and television star T.R. Knight will make a special guest appearance in the variety show Creation Nation at The Zipper Factory on Wednesday, May 23 at 8pm. The show is hosted by Billy Eichner and Robin Taylor.

Knight is best known for his role of Dr. George O’Malley on the hit T.V. series Grey’s Anatomy. His stage credits include the 2001 Broadway revival of Noises Off and the Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2003 production of Tartuffe. On Monday, May 21, Knight will co-host this season’s Obie Awards ceremony with Cynthia Nixon.

Creation Nation features comedy sketches, stand-up, original musical numbers, filmed segments, and live interviews. Since 2003, the show has played at various venues throughout New York City, most recently at Ars Nova. Written by Eichner and directed by Benjamin Salka, Creation Nation features musical director Eli Bolin at the keyboard, with choreography by Jennifer Loryn and production design by Richard Dibella.
