Estelle Parsons and Jerry Stiler will star in a reading of P. Seth Bauer’s new play Early in the Mourning at 8pm on Saturday, May 12 and 7pm on Sunday, May 13 at the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The reading will co-star Tim Peper and will be directed by Darrell Larson, artistic director of The Culture Project.

Parsons and Stiller will play Betty and Leo Rosen, whose son Daniel has died in a horrible car crash. As the couple spend New Year’s eve sitting shiva, long-simmering emotions come to the fore, prompted in part by a mysterious visit by one of Daniel’s students.

Tickets to the reading are $50, including a post-show discussion with Bauer and Larson, as well as a reception. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 732-246-7717 or visit www.GSPonline.org.
