Maxwell Caulfield to Make West End Debut in Chicago

Maxwell Caulfield will make his British stage debut starring as Billy Flynn in the smash West End production of the John Kander-Fred Ebb musical Chicago, May 29-June 30 at the Cambridge Theatre.

In the past year, Caulfield has appeared Off-Broadway in Tryst, My Deah, and Our Leading Lady. His other New York credits include An Inspector Calls, My Night With Reg, Entertaining Mr. Sloane and Class Enemy. His film and television credits include Grease 2, Dynasty, and The Colbys.

Chicago currently stars Josefina Gabrielle as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Matthew Lloyd Davies as Amos Hart, Susie McKenna as Mama Morton, and Michael Simkins as Billy Flynn. The show is directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking, in the style of Bob Fosse.

The London production of Chicago opened on November 18, 1997 at the Adelphi Theatre and transferred to the Cambridge in April 2006.
