The New Group has announced the productions to be featured in its 2007-2008 season.

The shows will be Things We Want by Jonathan Marc Sherman, directed by Ethan Hawke; Mike Leigh’s London hit Two Thousand Years, directed by Scott Elliott, the group’s artistic director; and Mouth To Mouth by Kevin Elyot, directed by Mark Brokaw.

Now entering its 13th season, The New Group has presented a number of Leigh’s plays (including Ecstasy, Goose-Pimples, Smelling a Rat, and Abigail’s Party), as well as Elyot’s My Night With Reg.

The company’s most recent production, Bernard Weinraub’s The Accomplices, is nominated for the Drama Desk Awards for Best Play. Earlier this week, Hawke received a Tony Award nomination as Best Featured Actor in a Play for The Coast of Utopia.
