We All Love Ella, a CD tribute to the late Ella Fitzgerald, will be released by Verve Records on Tuesday, June 5. In addition, a concert of the same name featuring some of the recording’s artists will be shown on PBS as part of its Great Performances series on Wednesday, June 6.

Among the album’s selections are such Fitzgerald hits as “Mr. Paganini,” “Lady Be Good,” “Miss Otis Regrets,” and “A Tisket A Tasket.” A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation.

During her long recording career, Fitzgerald sold over 40 million albums and won 13 Grammy Awards. She died on June 15, 1996 at the age of 79 and would have turned 90 earlier this year.
