Roger Rees, artistic director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, has announced additional casting for the festival's 2006 season, which will run July 6-August 27.

Sharon Lawrence will play the role of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, to be directed by Rees on the Main Stage, July 5-16. Well known for her TV roles of Sylvia Costas Sipowitz on NYPD Blue and Maisy Gibbons on Desperate Housewives, Lawrence has appeared on Broadway as Velma Kelly in Chicago and also in revivals of Fiddler on the Roof and Cabaret.

Emmy Rossum will play Juliet in the festival's Main Stage production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by Will Frears, August 2-13. Her film credits include Poseidon, The Phantom of the Opera, Mystic River, and The Day After Tomorrow.
