The play centers on two sisters who are forced to decided who will care for their recently orphaned nephew, who has Asperger's Syndrome. The women and their reluctant husbands struggle with a new reality that threatens to unravel the promises they once made to their mother.
The show's creative team includes Adrian W. Jones (set design), Amy Clark (costume design), Russell Champa and Justin Partier (lighting design), and Shane Rettig (sound design). Kaller recently directed the Philadelphia Theatre Company production of Adrift in Macao.

Oreskes has starred on Broadway in Aida and Off-Broadway in Terrorism. Plunkett won the Tony Award for Me and My Girl and also appeared on Broadway in Saint Joan and Sunday in the Park With George. Purinton appeared Off-Broadway in Trailerville. Reiner was most recently seen Off-Broadway in Pentecost.
