NBC might as well stand for the National Broadway Company next fall, considering the large number of New York theater veterans who will appear in the network’s new shows. The fall line-up was announced today.

Jeff Goldblum, a Tony nominee for The Pillowman, will play an eccentric detective in Raines. Amanda Peet and Sarah Paulson will join former NBC series stars Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford in Aaron Sorkin’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, set behind the scenes of a television show. That’s also the concept of 30 Rock, created by Saturday Night Live‘s Tina Fey and starring Alec Baldwin as a crazed network president.

Tony Award winner John Lithgow will star with Jeffrey Tambor, who appeared in last season’s revival of Glengarry Glen Ross in the sitcom 20 Good Years; the pair will play mismatched buddies enjoying their senior citizenship. Heather Burns, last seen Off-Broadway in Fran’s Bed, will play Lithgow’s daughter.

Festen star Jeremy Sisto and former Tony nominee Delroy Lindo head the cast of the drama Kidnapped, which also stars Dana Delany and Timothy Hutton; Keith Nobbs will star in The Black Donnellys, a drama about a family of Irish brothers created by Paul Haggis, director of the Oscar-winning film Crash; and musical theater veteran Harve Presnell will appear opposite Andy Richter in the comedy Andy Barker: P.I..
