ATW to Host Design in theTheatre Seminar on May 5.

Set designers David Korins and Derek McLane, costume designers Jess Goldstein and Carrie Robbins, and lighting designer Peggy Eisenhauer will participate in the American Theatre Wing’s Design in the Theatre seminar, to be held at noon on Friday, May 5 at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (365 Fifth Avenue).

Tickets to the seminar are $10 (free to ATW members) and are distributed beginning one hour prior to the seminar’s start. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For reservations and more information, call 212-817-8215.

That same day at 6pm, ATW’s weekly Downstage Center radio show, broadcast on XM Sattelite Radio, will mark its 100th episode. The special guest will be Alan Cumming, who is currently starring in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of The Threepenny Opera. The show, which is broadcast on XM’s On Broadway channel, is co-hosted by Howard Sherman, ATW’s executive director, and John von Soosten, director of XM28 on Broadway. It runs numerous times during the week.
