The Off-Broadway musical We’re Still Hot! unexpectedly played its final performance on Sunday, May 8. The show recently made headlines because Victoria Gotti, daughter of the late mob boss John Gotti and star of the TV reality series Growing Up Gotti, was scheduled to join the cast; her original start date was to be April 9 but was then postponed. As of the show’s closing, she had not yet made her debut.

WIth a book by JJ McColl and a score by McColl and Rueben Gurr, We’re Still Hot tells the story of a group of four women who rediscover what they loved — and didn’t love — about each other as they put together a show for their 35th high school reunion. In his review of the musical, David Finkle wrote: “The show’s heart is in the right place — but it takes more than good intentions to make a show, or to make it original.”
