The stars partied hard as Sweet Charity, Glengarry Glen Ross, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee opened on Broadway.

Her friends can see her now! Though Christina Applegate’s out-of-town foot injury almost scotched plans for her Broadway debut in Sweet Charity, the star — best known for her role of Kelly Bundy on TV’s Married… With Children — triumphed over adversity and bowed in the show at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre last night. The after-party was held at Guastavino’s; that’s where our photog caught up with the gorgeous Applegate and Denis O’Hare, who plays Charity’s boyfriend Oscar Lindquist in the show.

Monday, May 2 marked the Broadway opening of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the William Finn-Rachel Sheinkin-Rebecca Feldman musical that was a huge hit in its Off-Broadway run at Second Stage.
