Alda, Goldblum, Turner et al. Set as Tony Award Presenters

2005 Tony Award nominees Alan Alda, Christina Applegate, Mario Cantone, James Earl Jones, Laura Linney, Liev Schreiber, and Kathleen Turner will be among the presenters in the 59th Annual Tony Awards ceremony, to be held on Sunday, June 5 at 8pm. at Radio City Music Hall. Hugh Jackman, who won a Tony for his performance as Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz, will host the event for the third consecutive year.

Other celebrities scheduled to present awards this year are Joan Allen, Angela Bassett, Matthew Broderick, Don Cheadle, Marcia Cross, Jon Cryer, Laurence Fishburne, Jeff Goldblum, Anne Hathaway, Dennis Haysbert, Ethan Hawke, Allison Janney, Nathan Lane, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Esai Morales, Megan Mullally, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce, Sandra Oh, Doris Roberts, Emmy Rossum, Keri Russell, Tony Shaloub, Julia Stiles, and Leslie Uggams.

The June 5 ceremony will once again be broadcast live on CBS. There will also be live, pre-show coverage of the red-carpet arrivals on the TV Guide channel, beginning at 7pm. Both the Tony Awards telecast and the red-carpet arrivals coverage will be time-delayed for the West Coast.
