2004-2005 Lucille Lortel Awards Presented in Ceremony at Dodger Stages

The 2004-2005 Lucille Lortel Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievement Off-Broadway, were presented last night in a ceremony at Dodger Stages that was hosted by Bruce Vilanch and Julie Halston.

The ceremony was notable in that several of the major awards went to two productions that have since transferred to Broadway: Doubt and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It was also notable in that there was a three-way tie for the winner in the Outstanding Featured Actress category. The complete list of winners (noted in bold) and nominees follows:
