Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia, one of the stars of the Broadway musical Avenue Q, will host a gala benefit for Live Out Loud — an organization dedicated to empowering and mentoring lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans-gendered (LGBT) youth in New York City — on Monday, May 24 from 6pm to 9pm at the Chelsea Art Museum (556 West 22nd Street at 11th Avenue).

The event will culminate with a scholarship presentation to five LGBT youth who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills. It will also feature music by DJ Susan Morabito, cocktails and food by New York’s best restaurants and caterers, and a silent auction.

Live Out Loud is dedicated to empowering LGBT youth by providing a forum wherein they can interact with role models in the community. Tickets for the May 24 gala range upwards in price from $45 for general admission; to order tickets or for further information, click here.
