Outer Critics Circle Award Winners Announced

By New York City
The Outer Critics Circle has just announced the winners of its awards for 2002-03. This season marks the 53rd anniversary of the OCC, an association of more than 75 critics and writers from over 10 states who cover New York theater for out-of-town newspapers, national publications, and other media. The OCC's annual awards honor excellence in Broadway and Off-Broadway theater; this year's ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 29th at Sardi's, beginning at 4pm.

In addition to the winners in the usual categories listed below, a special achievement award will be given to the cast of Talking Heads for Outstanding Ensemble Performance, based on a recommendation by the OCC executive committee. Click here to view a complete list of this year's nominees.
