{Your Name Here}: A Queer Theater Company will present three public performances of its developmental workshop Don't Drink from the River, written by MJ Kaufman. The performances will take place May 2-4 at The Tank, a copresenter of the event. Each performance will be followed by a special talkback, featuring guests yet to be announced.

Directed by Will Davis, Don't Drink From the River features Bianca Leigh (Transamerica), Jax Jackson (Teddy Ferrera), and Jonny Beauchamp. The play tells the story of three transgender individuals whose lives become intertwined. Nina, a 4.0 high school senior from a privileged family, looks for support at a queer and trans youth drop-in center when her mother refuses to get out of bed. She instantly connects with Bo, the only other trans person at the center, and invites him to come stay with her and her mother.

{Your Name Here} focuses on producing and creating works that positively depict the LGBTIQQA community to propel these stories to a larger audience.
