Two-time Tony Award winner Viola Davis and the original off-Broadway cast of Lynn Nottage's acclaimed drama Intimate Apparel will reunite for a one-night-only benefit reading of the play at 7pm on Sunday, June 15 at the Laura Pels Theatre. The evening will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Roundabout Theatre Company's Harold & Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre and benefit Roundabout's New Play Initiative.

Daniel Sullivan will return to direct the piece, which is set to feature Davis (Fences) as Esther, Lauren Vélez (Dexter) as Mamie, Corey Stoll (House of Cards) as Mr. Marks, Russell Hornsby (Grimm) as George, Lynda Gravátt (Dividing the Estate) as Mrs. Dickson, and Arija Bareikis (Southland) as Mrs. Van Buren.

Intimate Apparel, which was the inaugural production of Roundabout's Laura Pels Theatre, received the New York Drama Critics' Circle and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Play, as well as a Drama Desk Award and an Obie Award for Davis' performance.
