Two-Time Tony Winner Swoosie Kurtz to Promote Her Memoir Part Swan, Part Goose With New York Events

Kurtz received Tonys for her work in ”Fifth of July” and ”The House of Blue Leaves”.

Stage and television star Swoosie Kurtz will visit New York during the week of April 28 to promote her upcoming memoir, Part Swan, Part Goose: An Uncommon Memoir of Womanhood, Work, and Family.

On April 28, the actress is set for an event at Roundabout Theatre Company that will include an introduction by playwright John Guare, the author of The House of Blue Leaves, which earned Kurtz a Tony. On April 30, Kurtz will join in a conversation with author and theater manager Tom Santopietro at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble.

Kurtz also won a Tony for her work in Fifth of July. Other Broadway credits include Frozen and Heartbreak House. Kurtz, also known for her television work, is an eight-time Emmy nominee, with one win for Carol and Company.

Part Swan, Part Goose tells of the actress' journey from Nebraska to the theater stages of Broadway and the television and movie screens of Hollywood.
