Rory O'Malley, Julia Murney, and More to Headline Night of a Thousand Judys Pride Concert

Proceeds from the annual Judy Garland-themed evening of celebration will benefit the Ali Forney Center.

The fourth annual Night of a Thousand Judys, presented by Justin Sayre's The Meeting, has announced the first group of performers set to headline the event. The talent lineup will include Grammy-nominated jazz musician Jane Monheit, Sarah Dash of Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles, Tony nominee Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon), Julia Murney (Wicked), singer/songwriter Erin McKeown, and jazz singer Gabrielle Stravelli. Additional special guests will be announced at a later date.

Past Night of a Thousand Judys concerts featured performances by Martha Wash, Carolee Carmello, Justin Vivian Bond, Madeleine Peyroux, Tonya Pinkins, Nellie McKay, Telly Leung, Karen Mason, Bridget Everett, Michael Musto, Jackie Hoffman, Howard McGillin, Jessica Molaskey and John Pizzarelli, Ashley Brown, Daniel Reichard, Karen Akers, Paul Iacono, Daisy Eagan, and Frank DeCaro, among many others.

The annual Pride concert, benefiting the Ali Forney Center, will be held on Monday, June 16, at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center. The evening will pay tribute to the late movie star and gay icon Judy Garland, celebrating the landmark 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. This year's festivities will be written and hosted by Justin Sayre and directed and choreographed by Jason Wise.
