Here Lies Love Cast Album Will Be Released in Time for Its Off-Broadway Return

David Byrne and Fatboy Slim’s musical has been preserved on two discs by Nonesuch Records.

The original cast recording of David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's award-winning musical Here Lies Love will be released by Nonesuch Records on April 22. The two-disc album, which is also available digitally, features a 52-page color booklet, an introduction by Oskar Eustis, and two essays about the piece by Byrne.

Here Lies Love, the recipient of Obie, Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk, and Theatre World Awards, returns to The Public Theater's LuEsther Hall beginning April 14, with an official reopening date set for May 1. The environmental musical, which follows the life of Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos, first played the Public, under the direction of Alex Timbers, last spring.

Ruthie Ann Miles leads the company as Imelda Marcos, with Jose Llana as Ferdinand Marcos and Conrad Ricamora as Ninoy Aquino. Also included on the album are Renee Albulario, Melody Butiu, Natalie Cortez, Debralee Daco, Joshua Dela Cruz, Kelvin Moon Loh, Jeigh Madjus, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Trevor Salter, and Janelle Velasquez.
