Disney's Aladdin and Newsies Announce New Ticket Policies

The Disney Broadway hits Aladdin and Newsies have announced new ticket policies that will take effect April 21, providing access to affordable tickets for same-day performances.

Aladdin will now offer a limited number of tickets via lottery at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The lottery will begin two and a half hours before the performance, and winners will be drawn two hours before each performance. Winners will have the chance to purchase up to two $30 tickets with cash only to that day's performance.

Newsies will begin offering a limited number of general rush seats for $30 each on the day of the show when the box office opens. Tickets can be purchased by cash or charge at the Nederlander Theatre box office. Each guest in line may purchase a maximum of two tickets.

Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed, James Monroe Iglehart, and Jonathan Freeman. The show also features Brian Gonzales, Brandon O'Neill, Jonathan Schwartz, and Don Darryl Rivera.

The Broadway company of Newsies features Corey Cott, John Dossett, Liana Hunt, Jeremy Greenbaum, LaVon Fisher-Wilson, Andy Richardson, and Luca Padovan, with Zachary Unger alternating the role of Les.
