Produced and directed by the company's founder and artistic director, David Staller, the cast will include: Heidi Armbruster (Time Stands Still) as Lydia; Jeremy Bobb (Fiorello! at Encores!) as Cashel Byron; Jim Brochu (Zero Hour) as Mellish; Sean Dugan (Next Fall) as Lucian; Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera) as Bashville; Kevin Rennard (The Threepenny Opera) as Cetewayo; Bruch Reed as Paradise; Warren Kelley (Houdini) as Lord Worthington; Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher) as a policeman; Charlotte Moore (Meet Me in St. Louis) as Adelaide Gisborne; and Annie Golden (Good Person of Szechwan) as the narrator. Admirable Bashville was written in 1901 as a short play that is loosely based on Shaw's novel Cashel Byron's Profession. The plot follows world champion prizefighter Cashel Byron (Bobb) who romantically pursues the wealthy Lydia Carew (Armbruster) while trying to hide his illegal profession from her.
