Tommy Tune to Host The American Tap Dance Foundation’s Spring Gala 2012

The American Tap Dance Foundation is set to present its spring gala 2012, an evening of Fun, Film, and Fancy Footwork, April 24 at 6:30pm at the Peter Norton Symphony Space. Director/choreographer Tommy Tune will host the event.

The gala evening will begin with a reception followed by silent and live auctions. The entertainment will include guest appearances by some of the best in tap dancers and entertainers in the business as well as performances by members of the Tap City Youth Ensemble, the Tap City Junior Ensemble, and ATDF Youth Program Students.

The evening’s performers will include Warren Craft, Les Femmes Plus, Michela Marino-Lerman, Jason Samuels Smith, Cartier Williams, and other surprise guests.

Choreography is being contributed by Guillem Alonso, Joshua Hilberman, Lisa LaTouche, and Margaret Morrison. Percussionist Robin Burdulis, bassist Joe Fonda, and pianist Larry Ham will provide musical accompaniment.
