PHOTO FLASH: Victor Garber, Jesse L. Martin, Matt Slauson and More at Our Time Gala

New York Jets starting left guard Matt Slauson and philanthropist Budd Mayer were honored Monday, April 16 at Our Time’s 10th Annual Benefit Gala, titled “Tackling Our Fears, Defending Our Dreams.” The event was held at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

Taro Alexander, founder and director of Our Time, directed the evening’s concert, which featured performances by Rachel Dratch, Victor Garber, Jesse L. Martin, Ron Rifkin, The Book of Mormon cast members Jared Gertner, Benjamin Schrader, and Tommar Wilson, and a number of children who are a part of the Our Time organization.

Additional guests included Riki Alexander, Nanette Mayer, and Cami Slauson.

Founded in 2001, Our Time is a non-profit organization devoted to helping young people who stutter improve their confidence and communication.
