Legendary film director Peter Bogdanovich attended a performance of Mark St. Germain’s Freud’s Last Session, on Saturday, April 7. The play performs Off-Broadway at New World Stages.

Suggested by Dr. Armand M. Nicholi, Jr.’s book The Question of God, the play imagines an encounter between famed psychologist Sigmund Freud and theologian/writer C.S. Lewis. Tyler Marchant directs the production, which stars George Morfogen as Freud and Jim Stanek as Lewis.

Among Bogdanovich’s films are The Last Picture Show and Paper Moon. Morfogen has appeared in numerous Bogdanovich’s films, including What’s Up Doc?, They All Laughed and Daisy Miller, and he co-produced Mask, They All Laughed and Illegally Yours.
