On Thursday, April 26, the cast of Vineyard Theatre's Developmental Lab Production of The Landing met with members of the press. The cast features David Hyde Pierce, Julia Murney, Paul Anthony Stewart and Jake Bennett Siegfried. The production, which is open only to Vineyard Theatre members, will be directed by Walter Bobbie, with David Loud as musical director.

Based on stories written by John Kander and Greg Pierce, the show is Kander's first full new theater collaboration with another writer since the passing of his long-time collaborator Fred Ebb in 2004. The Landing is comprised of three one-act musicals thematically-linked and performed together by an ensemble of four, inviting audiences into worlds where the characters must confront what it means to get what they think they want.
