The cast of Broadway’s Godspell — including High School Musical star Corbin Bleu and Glee‘s Telly Leung — attended the Wednesday, April 18 performance of Silence! The Musical, currently performing at The 9th Space Theatre at PS 122. Also in attendance that night was Broadway favorite Eden Espinosa, who played Elphaba opposite Silence! star David Garrison in Wicked.
With a book by Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, this unauthorized parody of the thriller Silence of the Lambs is directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.
The production stars Garrison as Hannibal Lecter, along with Jenn Harris (Clarice Starling), and Stephen Bienskie (Buffalo Bill). The cast also features Callan Bergmann, Harry Bouvy, Ashlee Dupré, Deidre Goodwin, Howard Kaye, Topher Nuccio, Kimberly Stern, Pamela Bob, and Doug Trapp. Music Supervisor is Mark Hartman, with orchestrations by Brian J. Nash.
