Bernadette Peters and the cast of Anything Goes surprised Joel Grey with an on-stage birthday celebration following the Wednesday, April 11 matinee of the revival at the Stephen Sondheim Theater.

Anything Goes leading lady Stephanie J. Block and the company presented Grey with a cake before introducing Peters, his co-star in the 1968 musical George M!, who led the crowd in a rendition of "Happy Birthday." Peters also brought out Grey's canine companion, Miguelito.
