Merle Louise Set for Judith Shakespeare Company's Shakespeare-a-Thon II: Comedy Tomorrow - Tragedy Tonight!

Judith Shakespeare Company is set to present Shakespeare-a-Thon II: Comedy Tomorrow - Tragedy Tonight!, a marathon reading of eight plays in 24 hours, beginning April 21 at Noon at Irish Times Pub.

The program will feature more than 50 actors, including Broadway veteran Merle Louise, bringing to life Shakespeare's Coriolanus, All's Well That Ends Well, Julius Caesar, Love's Labors Lost, Titus Andronicus, Comedy of Errors, Macbeth, and Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Louise performed in the original casts of Broadway's Gypsy, Company, Sweeney Todd, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. For the Shakespeare-a-Thon, she will reprise her roles as the Countess in All's Well That Ends Well and as Caesar in Julius Caesar.
