Julie Reiber to Celebrate Love Travels CD Release with April 25 Concert

Julie Reiber will celebrate the release of her debut solo album, Love Travels, with a concert a Rockwood Music Hall to be offered on Wednesday, April 25. The recording will be available for purchase and digital download April 24.

The disc will contain both original songs by the performer along with new interpretations, with arrangements and orchestrations by James Sampliner, of such songs as Jason Robert Brown’s “Still Hurting” (from The Last 5 Years), Adam Guettel’s “Through the Mountain” (from Floyd Collins), Stephen Schwartz’s “Defying Gravity” (from Wicked), Stevie Wonder’s “Knocks Me Off My Feet,” Chaka Khan’s “Stay,” John Mayer’s “Back To You, and Joni Mitchell’s “Little Green.

Reiber is currently playing Marion in Broadway’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Among her other credits are Wicked, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, All Shook Up, and Brooklyn on Broadway.
