Godspell‘s Broadway Cast to Perform Benefit Concert of Stephen Schwartz Songs at Joe’s Pub

Cast members from Broadway’s Godspell will perform a benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS entitled Godspell Sings Stephen Schwartz at Joe’s Pub on Wednesday, May 23 at 9:30pm.
The concert will feature songs from Schwartz’s musicals and films, including Pippin, Wicked, The Baker’s Wife, The Magic Show, Working, Personals, Children of Eden, Rags, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Prince of Egypt, Enchanted, and more.
As previously reported, May events at Joe’s Pub will also include Hatched, featuring Ryan Scott Oliver (May 5); Rachel Potter with guest appearances by Michael Cerveris, Cosmo-Country sensation The Vanity Belles, and The Country Band featuring Marty Thomas (May 13); Marvin’s Garden II featuring Jerry Dixon, Kenita Miller, Patrick Page, Andrew Samonsky, Sally Wilfert, and Michael Winther (May 21); Carrie Manolakos (May 26); and David Yazbek (May 30).
Additional performers at the venue will include Peter Himmelman (May 21), Chuck Prophet & Mission Express (May 22), Project Trio (May 23), Willie Nile (May 24), Sydney Wayser (May 24), Loop 2.4.3 (May 25), The Tickled Pinks featuring Hazel Honeysuckle & Gin Minsky (May 25), Francine Reed (May 26), Tanya O’Debra & Molly Pope in Lo-Fi Floozies (May 27), and Ronn Yedidia & Alexander Fiterstein (May 27).
