The Hangar Theatre’s Pilot Reading Series in NYC continues with a reading of Seeing Jerusalem, by Seth Greenland. The reading is Monday, April 23 at 7pm at One on One Studios, 34 West 27th Street, 11th floor (between Broadway and Sixth Avenue). The reading will be directed by Roger Danforth.

In the play, Jewish New Yorker Will Solomon is spending a Midwestern Christmas with his wife’s WASP in-laws. The holiday cheer is flowing, the entire family is fighting, and now Will is hearing voices telling him “The Revelation is nigh.” It’s enough to send a man on a trip to Jerusalem in a last-ditch attempt to salvage a faltering marriage.

The cast will include Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, Erin Dilly, Lianne Kressin, Brad Oscar, and Richard Topol.

The Hangar Pilot Reading Series, held every month in Manhattan, offers new and established playwrights a chance to work on their new plays with Hangar alumni, directors, and actors. Notable artists who have participated in the Reading Series include Kristoffer Diaz, Lisa Peterson, & Rebecca Naomi Jones.

Admission to Seeing Jerusalem is free and open to the public. Seating is limited. RSVP to: hangarpilotreadingsnyc@gmail.com.
