Davis Gaines, Andrea Marcovicci to Join Conan O’Brien, Marcia Gay Harden for Ojai Playwrights Benefit

Broadway’s Davis Gaines and Andrea Marcovicci are among the new additions to Ojai Playwrights Conference’s previously announced 15th Anniversary Season Gala Benefit, themed “Body and Soul: An OPC Cabaret” – A Musical and Theatrical Celebration of the Mystery, Magnificence and Madness of Living! The event will take place April 28 at 5:30 pm at Matilija Auditorium.

The evening will feature a live show with a star-studded cast which also includes Patrick J. Adams, Marcia Gay Harden, Megan Mullally, Conan O’Brian, Nick Offerman, Zachary Quinto, Noah Wyle, and others. There will also be a music and a gourmet dinner followed by a live auction featuring Conan O’Brien as one of the celebrity guest auctioneers. The evening will honor Award-winning playwright Bill Cain and OPC Board Member and Award-winning actress Dana Delany.

The Ojai Playwrights Conference is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop unproduced plays from diverse writers by promoting creative freedom and bold experimentation through a development process that values writers who focus on the compelling social, political, and cultural issues of our tim.
