BrainSpunk Theater to Present New York Premiere of Del Shores’ Southern Baptist Sissies

BrainSpunk Theater is set to present the New York premiere of Del Shores’ Southern Baptist Sissies, May 11-27 at the June Havoc Theatre. Elmer King will direct. Musical direction is by Nicholas Simpson.

Southern Baptist Sissies is centered on the Calvary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. It follows the journey of four gay boys who seek a world of love and acceptance.

The cast will include Leo Giannopoulos, Anthony Orneta, Aaron Wester, Jack Moore, Eileen Maher, Collin Biddle, Daniel McHenry, Rebecca Smith, Evan Closser, and Evan Montgomery.

The design team will include Timothy Meola (set design) and Taylor Derwin (prop design). Choreography will be by Sean Roschman.
