Bernadette Peters to Be Honored at New Dramatists Luncheon

Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters will be honored by New Dramatists with their 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award at its 63rd Annual Spring Luncheon tribute, to be held on Thursday, May 24 at the New York Marriott Marquis.


Peters appeared earlier this season as Sally Durant Plummer in the Broadway revival of Follies. She received Tony Awards for Song and Dance and Annie Get Your Gun. Her many other Broadway credits include Gypsy, Sunday in the Park With George, The Goodbye Girl, Into the Woods, George M, On the Town, and A Little Night Music.


Her many film and television credits include NBC’s Smash, in which she currently appears as Leigh Carlton, as well as Living Proof, Ugly Betty, Pennies From Heaven The Jerk, The Longest Yard, Silent Movie, Annie, Pink Cadillac, and Slaves of New York.
