Baba Brinkman’s The Canterbury Tales Remixed Available for Digital Download

Baba Brinkman’s solo show The Canterbury Tales Remixed is now available for digital download.

The 10-track recording features Brinkman’s hip-hop revisitations to such sections of Geoffrey Chaucer’s timeless Canterbury Tales as The Wife of Bath, The Merchant’s Tale and The Pardoner’s Tale, along with his take on other epic poems such as Gilgamesh and Beowulf. As with the show, music and “turntablism” is provided by Mr. Simmonds, who has also served as the producer and mixer of the album.

Brinkman’s other works include The Rap Guide to Evolution and The Rebel Cell, both of which have also been released on CD.
