AUDIO SHARE: Stream Gavin Creel’s "Enough" from His New Get Out CD

Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel has shared the song “Enough,” a track from his new CD Get Out, for streaming on TheaterMania.com.

The recording is Creel’s third independent release and has been created in collaboration with songwriter and producer Ben Cullum. In addition to this album, Creel recently released the single “Noise,” co-written with songwriter Robbie Roth, to raise funds and support for marriage equality across the country.

In describing the impetus for writing “Enough” Creel wrote TheaterMannia, “i was thinking a lot about push and pull, ebb and flow…the give and take in life and in love, and at this particular time of putting words and music down about it–i was pissed off. i’ve grown tired of my inability to bolster enough confidence to get myself through moments of romantic collapse- moments of unrequited affection, or moments of complete destruction amidst efforts to keep something working. i immediately go to the place of self-blame, that i am “too this” or “too that” or worse…i am not ENOUGH. no matter what i give, it just never seems to be ENOUGH. so, to start my new record off, i wanted an anthem to myself–something sexy and electronic and driving that pulsed through me (and hopefully the listener) to say—i AM enough and i have HAD enough. press play, and jam on.”
