AUDIO SHARE: Stream "Beautiful Eyes," the New Single from Alice Ripley’s Group RIPLEY
Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley has shared the new new single, “Beautiful Eyes,” for streaming on TheaterMania. The song is now available from iTunes and other digital music vendors.
Ripley won a Tony Award for her performance in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal and earned a Tony nomination for her performance in Side Show. “Beautiful Eyes” is Ripley’s first original song since 2006, when her band RIPLEY released the album Outtasite. In early 2011, she released a disc of covers, Daily Practice.
In sharing the track with TheaterMania, Ripley has said “When I chose ‘Beautiful Eyes’ to be RIPLEY’s first ‘digital single’, it was with the audience’s economic and musical satisfaction in mind.
