Tom Pelphrey to Head Excuse Me For Living Film

Daytime Emmy Award winner and stage veteran Tom Pelphrey will lead the cast of Ric Klass’ new film, Excuse Me for Living, according to Variety.


The actor will play a rich medical student who, after an attempted suicide, is forced to quit drugs and join a geriatric men’s group.


The cast will also feature Melissa Archer, Ewa da Cruz, Christopher Lloyd, Robert Vaughn, Jerry Stiller, Dick Cavett, Wayne Knight, James McCaffrey, David A. Gregory, and Tonja Walker.


Pelphrey’s stage credits include The Lion in Winter and In God’s Hat. He won two Emmys for his work on CBS’ Guiding Light and also appeared on the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns.
