The Bald Soprano, The Philanderer, Richard II and More Part of Pearl Theatre’s 2011-2012 Season
Pearl Theatre Company has announced the plays that will comprise its 2011-2012 season, which will begin with Eugene Ionseco’s absurdist classic about the mundane world of suburbia, The Bald Soprano (September 13 – October 23).
Also on the theater’s schedule is Shakespeare’s Richard II (November 8 – December 24), George Bernard Shaw’s look at the results of a man’s simultaneous affairs with two women, The Philanderer (January 10 – February 19), and Eugene O’Neill’s portrait of the love affair between the self-destructive Jamie Tyrone and the passionate and lonely Josie Hogan, A Moon for the Misbegotten (March 6 – April 15).
Casting and creative teams for the plays will be announced shortly.
