Nurse Jackie star and theater veteran Stephen Wallem will serve as master of ceremonies for the previously reported cabaret benefit starring Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley at B.B. King Blues Club, on Monday, May 2. The event is in support of The Pearl Theatre Company.

Mazzie and Danieley, who are married to one another, both recently completed a run in the Broadway musical Next to Normal. Mazzie is a three-time Tony Award nominee for Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, and Passion. Danieley’s theater credits include Curtains, The Full Monty and Candide on Broadway. The couple have performed numerous cabaret gigs together, and are featured together on the album Opposite You.

Wallem plays Thor on Showtime’s Emmy Award-winning series, Nurse Jackie. He will soon be appearing in Westport Country Playhouse’s production of Christopher Durang’s Beyond Therapy, and past theater credits include the national tours of Forever Plaid and Into the Woods. He recently teamed with Edie Falco for a sold-out run of The Other Steve and Edie at the Beechman Theatre.
