Joan Bender, Steven Brinberg, Melissa Dye, Susan Fanale, Sheldon Harnick, Nicolette Hart, Leah Horowitz, Jillian Louis, Megan McGinnis, Heather McRae, Alex Rolocek, Christine Pedi, Michele Ragusa, Sarah Rice, Andrew Samonsky, and Ian Michael Stuart are featured on the new CD Lost Broadway and More, Volume 3. Assembled by — and also featuring — Michael Lavine, the disc is now available for purchase from Original Cast Records.

The 24-track recording features numbers cut from musicals as well as tunes relegated by time to obscurity. Among the shows represented on the disc are Goodtime Charley, I’m Solomon, The Yearling, The Little Show, Barefoot Boy With Cheek, and Take Me Along. In addition, the disc begins and ends with “Thank You For Coming,” cut from Stephen Sohdheim’s Merrily We Roll Along as well as “Life Begins With Love,” a song by Charles Tobias and Joseph Cooper, which was heard in the 1930s Kaufman and Hart play on which the musical is based.
