Savion Glover, Ken Roberson, Nikki Yanofksy, et al. Set for Wycliffe Gordon’s Jazz a la Carte

Tony Award winner Savion Glover will be part of Wycliffe Gordon’s Jazz à la Carte, a variety show featuring the music of Benny Carter, Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, and Cab Calloway, which will presented at the Apollo Theatre on Friday, May 13 at 8pm and May 14 at 5pm and 8pm. It will be part of the inaugural Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival.

The show will also feature Ralph Cooper, the Benny Carter Orchestra, Temple University Big Band, Carla Cook, Nikki Yanofsky, Corey Wilcox, and Ken Roberson, among others. Comedian Robbie Todd will be the evening’s MC.
