Dionne Warwick accepted the Bob Harrington Lifetime Achievement Award at the event. Recipients of special awards also included Carol Channing and Michael Feinstein, who were unable to attend.

Bistro Awards winners included Tyne Daly (Outstanding Major Engagement), Allan Harris (Ongoing Achievement in Jazz), Kevin Dozier (Outstanding Vocalist), Carole J. Bufford (Outstanding Vocalist), and Hilary Kole (Outstanding Recording for You Are There).
