C. David Johnson, who plays Bob in the musical, was on hand to introduce his castmates, including Nick Adams, Jacqueline B. Arnold, Anastacia McClesky, Tony Sheldon, Ashley Spencer and Will Swenson, who performed "Shake Your Groove Thing," "Like a Prayer," and "We Belong."

The recording was released April 5 on Rhino Records. Stephen "Spud" Murphy and Charlie Hull produced the album.
