On Thursday, April 14, playwright Mark St. Germain and cast members Mark H. Dold and Martin Rayner celebrated the publication of Freud’s Last Session at an official book launch party at The Drama Book Shop. St. Germain signed copies of the script, which is published by Dramatists Play Service.

Suggested by the bestselling book The Question of God by Dr. Armand M. Nicholi, Jr., the play centers on an encounter between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis just weeks before Freud chooses to take his own life.

Dold and Rayner portray Lewis and Freud, respectively. Tyler Marchant directed the production, which is currently playing Off-Broadway at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater through July 3.
