Julie Andrews and Goodspeed Musicals Adapting The Great American Mousical for the Stage

Broadway and film star Julie Andrews is working with Goodspeed Musicals to develop an adaptation of her book, The Great American Mousical, co-written with daughter Emma Walton Hamilton, for the stage. A spokesperson for the theater has confirmed the project, but says there is no schedule or any dates set at this time.

Andrews won an Oscar in 1965 for her performance in Mary Poppins. Among her other film credits are The Sound of Music, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and 10. Her Broadway credits include Victor/Victoria, The Boy Friend, My Fair Lady, and Camelot.
